Description

<aside> 💡 My teaching philosophy is based on a phrase by Benjamin Franklin that says: "Tell me and I will forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I will learn." This phrase synthesizes everything I seek and intend from my teaching practice, which is to focus my teaching on the student and society.

As a student and now a professor, I am convinced that students learn more efficiently when they are stimulated to manage their own learning process, and the teacher serves as a guide or facilitator. My teaching philosophy for law in a modern context is based on three principles: Teamwork, Practical Experience, and Interdisciplinarity. I believe that the most effective learning outcomes are achieved when students and instructors complement each other and provide feedback.

In my opinion it is impossible learning to swim without touching the water. Similarly, law courses should focus on analytical skills and practical application, rather than just memorizing laws and codes. In my courses, I challenge students to step outside their comfort zones and take on different roles, such as a trader, entrepreneur, or regulator. This approach helps students identify clients' needs and provide clear, objective recommendations in plain language.

I believe in Albert Einstein's adage that "education is what remains after you have forgotten everything you have learned in school." Therefore, the courses I teach focus on the interrelationships between law and practice, supplemented by technological tools. Participants in these courses engage in empirical work on the decisions and resolutions of governmental entities, in order to mitigate risks.

Outside of the classroom, I strive to provide students with engaging resources that enhance their creative abilities. Through the creation of videos, infographics, and knowledge maps, students can develop the abilities and skills necessary for success in the future.
